10th Grade - Week 2

Dear Students,
Welcome to week 2. How are you? How's your quarantine doing? I hope everything's fine and hope to see you soon and healthy.

Did you read the Quarantine Tips from My Cat? Did you like it? And did you write your entry for the Cartoon Caption Contest? Please check the Just for fun label for more to come.

Watch the following video titled "Can plants talk to each other?" (tiene subtítulos en inglés y español por si quieres verlo así haz clic donde sale la cajita subtítulos).

What do you think? Are you surprised? Do you like plants? Do you have some around your house? A lot? What kind? Leave a comment below.

Task: After watching the video, answer the following questions to my email by Wednesday April 1st.
1. What are some characteristics of the language of plants?
2. Why do plants communicate? Survival, reproduction? Why?
3. Plant communication is most similar to which human sense? Sight, smell, touch, hearing?
4. How is plant communication similar to animal communication? How is it different?

Send your answers to my email. And remember, if you have any questions, problems, things you don't understand or anything, send me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Best! :)
